Geoff

 

Geoffrey Moran brings a broad range of fun & innovative organizational experience to Evolving Toys. He promoted electric cars as an eBusiness Project Manager for Ford Motor Company's TH!NK Mobility, and worked in the creative world as a Producer for the Ideas Group, where he managed projects for the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, the Software Development Forum of Silicon Valley, the Women’s Financial Network, iBeam Broadcasting and others. Geoff has most recently hung out his new-found design shingle at Gee Wow! Creative, where he delivers creative marketing for a host of clients.

 

Previously, Geoff worked in Washington D.C. as a Publications Specialist for the American Bar Association Presidential Administration Office & ABA Special Committee on the Drug Crisis, as a Research Assistant at the Smithsonian’s Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and in the Offices of U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader Richard Gephardt.

 

Geoff holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia, where he received a Graduate Fellowship while studying the philosophy of science. He went to Canada as a United States Fulbright Fellow in applied ethics. He received his BA in Philosophy and English from George Mason University and studied abroad at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Kim

 

Kim Treffinger brings entrepreneurial artistry, boutique sales experience and a background in early childhood education to Evolving Toys. Kim's artistry was recently featured on Home and Garden TV's Crafters Coast to Coast as well as within the book The Art of Pregnancy Photography by celebrated photographer Jennifer George. Kim's own award-winning portrait photography can be viewed on her website at Treffinger Studio.

 

Kim has worked retail sales for Cartier boutique, customer service for AT&T and sales & merchandising for a variety of department stores. She has also taught elementary school art grades 1-5, and was a group reading tutor and room mom during her children's elementary school years. This built on Kim's college coursework in early childhood education.

 

Kim has been a Board Member of the Professional Photographers of San Diego County, a past VP of Programs for the San Dieguito Art Guild and a member of Professional Photographers of America. She holds a BA in Design from the University of California, Davis.
